Manchester City star Erling Haaland is relishing the chance to take on Arsenal in Sunday’s potential title decider. City welcome the North London side to the Etihad Stadium at the weekend in a game that looks pivotal to both clubs’ title hopes.
Ahead of kick-off, Arsenal sit six points clear of Pep Guardiola ’s men and could extend that lead to nine points with a win. But City could slice that advantage to just three with a game in hand should they secure victory.
Key to their hopes will be Norwegian hitman Haaland. The 33-goal forward is already looking forward to the clash and knows how crucial it could be for both sides.
Speaking to Sky Sports , he said: “It’s always a nice fight. It’s always good to play against the best because that’s something you always want to do.”
He added: “It’s a massive game. We all know that. We all know the importance of that game. This game, it’s like a final like last weekend was against Chelsea , it was a final as well. Let’s be honest about that.

“We have a final every single weekend now for the next six weeks. It’s a massive game. It’s probably the biggest and the best game it will be. Hopefully, it can be an amazing game.”
Asked if this weekend’s upcoming game was one he looked forward to playing in, he replied: “Of course, this is the game you want to play. This is the moment you want to be in.”
Haaland is not the only City star to have given his verdict on Sunday’s titanic clash at the Etihad. Antoine Semenyo has also spoken out.
"Our form over the last couple of games has been good and we're playing probably the best football we've played in the second half of the season," he told In The Mixer, brought to you by Sky Bet.

"So it's a good time to play them, I guess. Where they've dipped in form, we've picked up form, so it'll be interesting."
"We were excited, to be honest," Semenyo added. "I feel like we're ready for the game Sunday. It's gonna be a big one. Title-deciding, maybe? I don't know.
"But it's gonna be a tough game, don't get me wrong. They've obviously lost against Bournemouth but they're still top of the table. We're still chasing them. So we have to give them respect in that sense."
Like Haaland, Semenyo has had a standout impact at City this season following his January arrival from Bournemouth. The Ghana international has scored eight goals in just 19 outings in all competitions.
