EA FC 26 Premier League TOTS release date, predictions and expected content

It’s the biggest FUT promo of the year and with good reason. Fans of EA FC 26’s Ultimate Team mode are set for the best of the Premier League campaign.

A total of 23 brand new special cards will soon land in packs reflecting the best performances across the 2025/26 season. The Team of the Season offers up the most boosted player items in EA Sports FC 26 so far, with some huge names getting cards that’ll strike fear into the hearts of virtual defences.

There’ll be plenty of content throughout the week, as the Team of the Season event rumbles on with arguably the most anticipated squad of the promo. Expect themed Squad Building Challenges, objectives and tournaments throughout this exciting time in EA FC 26 .

Here’s everything you need to know about the Premier League segment of the Team of the Season promo.

Each new batch of content during the Team of the Season promo has already been given a very public timeline. EA Sports announced the dates of each league’s TOTS release.

The Premier League TOTS team will be released on Friday, April 24, at 6pm BST. As well as the Premier League’s best performers, players will be able to obtain special cards from the Women’s Super League and a combined EFL squad.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, leaks indicate that the Premier League TOTS will be dominated by the division’s title contenders. League leaders Manchester City and season-long frontrunners Arsenal are the highest represented clubs if the leaks prove accurate.

City have four players in the squad while Arsenal have five. Chelsea also have four player items despite their recent drop-off in results.

The headline cards are a 97-rated Bruno Fernandes after a stellar campaign for the Manchester United skipper, and 96 overall cards for Declan Rice and Erling Haaland. There are also three 95-rated items for FUT players to keep an eye out for.

With the Team of the Season promo now a week old, EA Sports have made it clear what to expect throughout the event.

The timing also couldn’t be much better. The Premier League TOTS run comes a day after the latest Season dropped on FUT, meaning there’ll likely be plenty of opportunities to earn XP and advance through the season pass.

There’ll be some slightly different cards in each squad, too. EA Sports says on its website: “For players who didn’t make the cut despite a groundbreaking season, each league’s squad will be accompanied by three Breakthrough Player Items to recognise emerging talent.

“Additionally, Honourable Mentions players can be earned through themed Squad Building Challenges and Objectives. Silver Team of the Season players also descend on Football Ultimate Team, available through SBCs or Objectives, celebrating standout players with base items rated 74 OVR or lower.
